Essie Liu is a certified teacher with both the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the Royal Conservatory of Music. Essie has performed with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and maintains an active freelance career with l'Orchestre Symphonique de Gatineau and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra. Teaching bilingually in English and Chinese, Essie directs her intergenerational program, E.Liu Twinkle Garden, based in Kanata. Essie holds a Master of Music in Literature and Performance (Violin) from Western University and a Montessori Infant Toddler Teacher Diploma (TMI).


Violinist Debbie Hammond began her studies at the age of four in London; Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto and a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Michigan; Ann Arbor. Debbie has completed Suzuki Pedagogy training with several noted trainers including Edmund Springer; Alice Joy Lewis and Dr. Timothy (Terry) Durbin.
